Low-Light and Night Shooting
Offered once monthly on a Wednesday evening in Zurich
When day turns to night most photographers pack up their gear and call it a wrap. The goal of this class is to show you how, with some skill and imagination, you can produce amazing images in low-light and night time situations. This class is perfect for the intermediate photographer interested in practicing with manual exposure settings, the art of long-exposures, light-painting and HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography. Pack your tripod and a strong flash-light and join us for an after-hours photography exploration of Zurich's old town.
This course will begin with a short 10-15 minute technique introduction to cover some basics before we head out to shoot. The instructor will then lead students to several nearby locations after the sun has gone down. Our group will rendezvous at Henrici Cafe (Niederdorfstrasse 1, 8001 Zurich) before heading out on foot to visit some favorite night-time cityscape vistas. We won't cancel this course if it's raining - so bring a nice big umbrella if the weather forecast looks wet.
