Philippe Wiget

Philippe was born in Switzerland and grew up near Lucerne. He discovered photography at the age of 12; it was just the thing to make boring family vacations more interesting. By the time he was 15 he had already founded a photography club of his own and was immersed in learning all that the local libraries offered on photography. He has been involved with a variety of photography groups and served on the board of the Swiss Nature Photographers association.
He brings an elegant reportage shooting style to his professional wedding photography. Philippe also looks for any opportunities to explore the beautiful landscapes of Switzerland through the lens of his camera. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and, before making photography his full-time profession, Philippe worked in public communications of scientific technologies, corporate communications and as a marketing project management in the pharmaceutical industry.
